A family and their pet dog escaped a fire in Santa Ana Wednesday.
Around 4:40 p.m. Wednesday, the residents smelled smoke and noticed fast-moving flames in their house on South Linda Way, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.
Firefighters knocked down the fire and one person was assessed for smoke inhalation, OCFA added.
Details on what caused the fire were unavailable.
