The Los Angeles Dodgers will conduct their first Christian Faith & Family Day since 2019 Sunday, featuring pregame and postgame musical performances by Grammy-nominated contemporary Christian music singer-songwriter Jeremy Camp.
The day will also include player interviews and testimonials at the 1:10 p.m. game at Dodger Stadium against the Cincinnati Reds.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to talk about Jesus and determined to make it bigger and better than it was before COVID,” Dodger pitching star Clayton Kershaw tweeted May 26 when the date for the event was announced.
The Dodgers did not have any theme days during the 2020 season when fans were prohibited from attending games because of the coronavirus pandemic. They had fewer theme days than usual in 2021 because attendance was limited for a portion of the season.
