A father, stepmother, aunt and grandmother were charged Tuesday with torturing a 15-year-old girl in their care in Anaheim.
Louis Hill, 39, Yulonda Parker, 57, Shalonda Hill, 39, and Delores Porter, 59, were each charged with assault with a deadly weapon, torture, and child abuse and endangerment, all felonies, and they also face sentencing enhancements for inflicting great bodily injury, according to court records.
The four were scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday.
They were accused of using a hammer, pins, a chair and an awl as weapons to attack the child over a two-week period this month, according to court records.
The victim is about 15 years old, said Anaheim police Sgt. Daron Wyatt.
“Absolutely horrific things were done to this young girl,” Wyatt alleged. “They poked holes in her feet and poured bleach or something like that in them.”
The victim managed to get to UCLA Medical Center Friday night when police were notified, Wyatt said.
“There were around-the-clock investigations this weekend,” Wyatt said.
A few other children in the house were also taken into protective custody, Wyatt said.
